Kagyu Samye-Ling Temple

It was very dim and peaceful to sit here. From apparently from inside the
pagoda roofed structure on the left, came the sound of a human voice, and
the subtle clinking sound of glass. We were sure that we were interrupting
a monk at prayer. But then this guy emerged, complete with ipod. and
it became clear that he was doing a bit of dusting!

I asked if I could take some photographs, and he helpfully offered to put
the lights on, but I thought that might ruin the atmosphere.

So suddenly the 5D Mk 2 came into it’s own, allowing me to shoot at high
ISO’s.
