Perhaps the weirdest landscape I’ve ever taken…a strange juxstaposition of
rolling field, and almost exotic domestic architecture. And, of course, you
can’t see it, but there is also a crow sitting on the wire next the
telegraph pole. It reminds me of an illustration from a children’s book.

Taken through the glass at the superb Seagram Building, New York City. I
liked the reflection of the tree. Mies Van der Rohe, the “less is more’
man, still was partial to some beautiful planting, to add a hint of softness
to his strict, geometric forms.

It still fascinates me how a photograph can freeze an instant in time. This
is Bryant Square, New York City at 13.06 local time on the 5th May 2007. A
beautiful space.
