Yeah, I’ve posted a similar inverted reflection shot of this summer cottage before, but it was taken in the summer…….this was in October, as you see from the intense colours.

A starry night, and full moon, beside Lake Fjällgrycken in Sweden. It was
around minus 15 Celsius, and if there was anyone peeking through their
curtains, they probably thought I was totally nuts! Aluminium tripods are
not fun to handle at such temperatures.

Of all my photos taken in recent years, this is the one which pleases me most. You don’t see everything there is to see in the first half second…….the mist adds atmosphere and depth, and the viewer feels a wish to follow the path themselves….well, that’s the effect it has on me! The location is near Templand, Dumfries & Galloway.
